Measure the width of the window or to where you would like the pelmet to finish. For the pelmet cut a piece of stiffened buckram to shape in the finished dimensions allowing an extra 10 cm either end for the pelmet to return around the pelmet board. Cover this shape with fabric and glue. Sew the lining on to the back and attach apiece of velcro along the top edge. Fix the pelmet board to the wall with brackets and staple the matching strip of velcro.
